My very first blog, how exciting! My name is Doug Swartz, and I have been at Source for almost 9 years now. What brought me here, was the entrepreneurial feel and culture that existed here, and the feeling of belonging to a family that truly felt they could, in their own way, change the world. One small way that the Source Family is doing that this year, as in past years,

is through our support of Colorado's oldest not-for- profit group, The Denver Children's Home (DCH). 

Along with many of our customers, families and friends, Source has rounded up the resources to once again help provide a warm and caring holiday season for the children at DCH. This next Friday, December 19th, we will be hosting an annual Holiday Party at the home, where, among other things:

• There will be a festive Holiday Luncheon served by our Source volunteer team
• The children will receive a care package with a lot of great items including MP3 Player and gift cards
• We will be supplying each child with a blanket kit for them to create their own personally styled blanket. Quite often this blanket is the only thing that some kids take home with them. They really look forward to making these blankets.
• There will be an amazing ginger bread house competition by each class ( see a picture from last year below)

As one might imagine, we always enjoy lending a helping a hand, with support from so many good friends, but in the end it is us that seem to really be the winners in all of this caring. A very special thanks goes out to our "Snowflakes & Smiles" committee members who work especially hard at putting all of this together.
